“Where Gastronomy Meets History”
As a visual storyteller, collaborating with Makris Athens has been one of those rare creative experiences where everything just clicks — light, atmosphere, emotion, story.
In just 15 months since opening its doors, Makris earned its first Michelin star — a milestone that speaks volumes about the level of artistry happening in that kitchen. Working alongside Chef Petros Dimas, I quickly understood why. His dishes aren’t just beautifully executed; they tell stories rooted in Greek tradition, elevated with modern precision and soul.
Translating that culinary vision into visuals is like photographing music: every plate is a composition, every detail purposeful. From the moody warmth of the neoclassical interiors to the quiet drama of each course, my aim is always the same — to capture not just how it looks, but how it feels to dine at Makris.
This isn’t just food. It’s poetry. It’s heritage. And it’s a hell of an honor to help tell their story.
